The Finnish NT player Eveliina Summanen leave’s Kristianstads DFF to play for Tottenham Hotspur FC Women. 

I’m excited to join Tottenham and can’t wait to get started. This is the step I want to take in my career and the club and timing felt right. Tottenham is a big club with high ambitions and i’m proud to be part of that, says Eveliina Summanen.

The central midfielder signed a contract until 2023 with the option to extend for a further year. Summanen began her career with her hometown team PEPO, before joining HJK in 2016. In 2019 she moved to Sweden to join KIF Örebro in Damallsvenskan, and in January 2020 the career continued in Kristianstads DFF. Summanen is also a key part of the Finland national team, she made her senior debut in June, 2017 against China and has earned 34 caps for her country.

Eveliina has the potential to be one of the best midfielders in the world. She has already proven that in so many ways but now she gets to do that in one of the best leagues in the world.
