As CMG is taking a big step towards breaking new ground within the world of women’s football and is ready to take a new and strong position in the business, the recruitment of Söndergaard is just right and in line of where CMG is going.

Söndergaard has a broad experience within leading various types of complex organizations with a focus on change and development, and in building businesses from the ground up through strategic plans or in a phase where a new direction is set.

– I am very excited about having Sabine Söndergaard, with all her experience, onboard at CMG. To bring Sabine on as our new chairwoman shows that CMG wants to lead the change in the world of women’s football and to do more to improve the conditions for the players, says Maria Karlsson De Cecco, CEO & Client Manager at CMG.

Söndergaard is also a Swedish lawyer and board professional with a long experience within the legal field of sports. She was cofounder of the sports law department at one of the biggest law firms in Sweden and chairman of the board of the Swedish top club BK Häcken. She has also been part of different committees within the Swedish Football Association.

–  Professional women’s football is at an enormous stage of progress internationally both in the sport and the commercial contracts connected to this. Joining CMG right now, with the great stable platform the company has reached within a short period of time, is a great and challenging honor. We will keep being committed to do what we are here for – to be the leading voice in developing women’s football, says Sabine Söndergaard, chairwoman at CMG.
