Anna Björk Kristjánsdóttir has signed for Italian Inter and will leave the French side Le Havre.
The 31-year-old defender, with a history in both Limhamn Bunkeflo and Kif Örebro, among others, has a great season in Le Havre behind her. But now the Icelandic national team player will change environment and leave France for the hard-working Italian Serie A club Inter.
The Milan club is one of many that work intensively with team building to eventually take up the fight with the league giant of recent years – Juventus. Anna is an important part of the investment.
– Anna is a player with a lot of experience from both the national team and club teams in several different countries. After seasons in the Netherlands, Sweden and France, among other places, she will add physique, leadership qualities and an Icelandic mentality to her new club Inter. A club that is
investing heavily for the upcoming season in Serie A. CMG wishes Anna all the best in this next step of her career, says Maria Karlsson De Cecco, CEO and Client Manager at CMG.
Anna Björk Kristjánsdóttir, who made her debut in Iceland’s A national team in 2013, will bring Inter stability on the defensive with her style of play.
