Duljan makes a move from OBOSDamallsvenskan team Kristianstad DFF in Sweden to the Italian top club Juventus FC. Duljan made her Allsvenskan debut when she was only 14 years and 13 days and became one of leagues youngest players ever. Despite her young age, she has played over 60 games in the Swedish league. She is an explosive player with high speed both on and off the ball, who can play in many different positions.
– Signing for a big club like Juventus feels unreal. But at the same time, it’s something I’ve dreamed about for a very long time. I am extremely excited to meet the team and get started. Thank you CMG for being with me on this journey, says Duljan.
Duljan was a part of the Swedish U19 team who played the Euros this summer in Czech Republic. Her team came all the way to the semifinals and lost against the final winners of the championship Spain with 1-0. Duljan has also been called up to the Swedish U23 national team but not made her game debut yet.
– Evelina Duljan to Juventus is a transfer that looks extremely spectacular on paper, checking all the superficial boxes of what one could wish for in a football story. But I can honestly say that with all that great surface, the real beauty of this transfer is not the wow-feeling it gives but the ocean of hard work that has been invested in the past and that will be invested in the future, first by Evelina and then by the clubs.
We believe Juventus and the everyday structure they offer outside the field plus the top level trainings and games in one of the fastest growing leagues in the world, will be the perfect club to help Evelina to reach her full potential, says Lisa Ek, Client Manager at CMG.
We look forward to keep following Duljan’s development in a top class environment like Juventus FC.
